Here is a simple guide to better understand the colors we breed:

Golden colors:
Black Golden shaded = ny 11 

Black Golden chinchilla = ny12
Blue Golden shaded = ay 11 

Blue Golden chinchilla = ay12
Chocolate golden shaded = by 11 
Lilac Golden shaded = cy 11 

 

Silver colors: 
Black Silver shaded = ns 11 

Black Silver chinchilla = ns12
Blue Silver shaded = as 11 

Blue Silver chinchilla = as12
Chocolate Silver shaded = bs 11 
Lilac Silver shaded = cs 11

What about  code 12?

Lately, we have seen an increase of Tipped Golden & Silver cats with less visible tipping markings. The tipping is restricted to just the tip of the tail and ears and MUST be visible. The paw pads and underbelly is nearly clean of shading, top of their back has very little shading.

They are rare and thus are higher in price.
